SOFTWARE

Handle your own case, with the files staying on your computer

Three Windows applications on the Microsoft Store that work together: a private case workspace, property insurance claim software, and a case law library you can search offline. Denied claim, malpractice, or a matter you are handling without a lawyer — the record stays yours.

PAi Legal

A private case workspace for people handling their own legal matter.

Legal trouble arrives as a pile of paper: denial letters, contracts, emails, photographs, court forms. PAi Legal turns that pile into an organized case file on your own hard drive. It reads PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, Outlook messages, and scanned paper, with optical character recognition built in, so a photographed document becomes searchable text without a subscription to anything.

One event often produces more than one legal matter. A denied insurance claim and the lawyer who mishandled the appeal are two different disputes with two different defendants. PAi Legal keeps them separated inside a single case folder so the record stays straight.

Document import with OCR

PDFs, Word, spreadsheets, Outlook mail, and scanned or photographed paper become searchable text.

Separate matters

Distinct legal matters stay apart inside one case folder instead of blurring into a single dispute.

Encrypted backups

Manifest-verified backups and an append-only audit record of what happened to the case file.

Optional private AI

A language model that runs on your own hardware, set up on first run. Nothing is sent anywhere.

PAi Claims

Property insurance claim software that keeps the evidence with you.

Photographs, carrier estimates, repair costs, correspondence, and payment records belong together in one place you control. PAi Claims connects visible property damage to the records that support it, preserves carrier values separately from your own source-traced repair quantities, and keeps supported facts distinct from assumptions.

Claim documentation

Photographs, estimates, carrier records, correspondence, payments, and exports in a case folder you own.

Estimate comparison

Carrier values stay separate from preliminary repair quantities and prices, so the gap is visible.

Visible provenance

See where every figure came from, with supported facts kept apart from assumptions and AI inferences.

PSi Legal

A case law library on your own machine, searchable without a connection.

Commercial legal research runs on a meter. PSi Legal takes a different approach: it builds and indexes a case law corpus that lives on your computer, so searching costs nothing, works with the network unplugged, and leaves no record of what you looked up. No AI is required, because the index does the work.

If you want a model to read the results for you, PSi Legal can reach one through an API. That part is optional and off unless you turn it on. It also pairs with PAi Legal, which can pull authorities from the corpus while your case files stay where they are.

How the two lines differ

PAi products load an AI model onto your own computer during setup and run it there. Once installed, they work with no network connection, no account, and no data leaving the machine. PAi Legal and PAi Claims are both PAi products.

PSi products do their core work locally as well. Where they differ is that they can optionally reach a hosted model through an API when a job needs one larger than a desktop can hold. That path is off until you enable it and supply your own credentials.

PAi Claims and PAi Legal share a case: claim evidence carries into the legal workspace when a denial turns into a dispute, and PAi Legal can pull authorities from a PSi Legal corpus without your case files leaving the machine.

These applications are organizational and analytical aids. They are not a law firm, insurer, public adjuster, or engineering authority, and they do not replace licensed professional advice. Verify deadlines, policy interpretations, code requirements, quantities, prices, and any generated document before relying on it.
